The JeepLegend is the fruit of a dream shared by a group of friends who created the Jeepers Club Pian della Luna. Thanks to the commitment and dedication of all the members, it was possible to bring the Jeep brand off-road vehicles back to this heavenly corner of the off-road, after 35 years of absence. The fundamental idea of the project was to revive the iconic Jeep CJ, characterized by their powerful V8 engines and daring drivers, who once faced these tracks. The goal was to see these vehicles alongside all the models of the brand, from the historic Willys, CJ and SJ, to the more modern Wrangler YJ, XJ, ZJ, JK and JL. This motivation gave life to a unique event, involving the new generations of enthusiasts and bringing back the atmosphere of the past, making the V8 engines roar again together with the 6-cylinder and modern diesel engines, always with full respect for nature.


The proposed routes are divided into four difficulty levels, designed for Jeeps equipped with a reduction gear and Mud studded tires:


  • Green: a tourist route on the dirt roads surrounding the track, suitable for all Jeeps with a reduction gear and knobby tyres with original size knobby tyres and beginner off-road driving
  • Blue: a path inside the track with easy passages, suitable for all Jeeps with reducer and knobby tires

    • with original measuring diameter or up to 31" and a basic off-road guide

    • Red: a route inside the track with medium difficulty passages, suitable for all Jeeps with reduction gear, rear differential lock and knobby tires with a diameter of up to 35" or equivalent and medium off-road driving.
    • Black: a route inside the track with difficult passages, suitable for all Jeeps with reduction gear, front and rear differential lock, and knobby tires with a diameter of up to 38" or equivalent and expert off-road driving.

      • Each course is supervised by trained staff members and equipped with all the necessary equipment to advise and assist participants in overcoming every obstacle safely and with fun.

      JeepLegend is not just an off-road event, but a two-day experience dedicated to passion, friendship and fun.

      We warmly invite you to attend the Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch, where awards will be given to the different categories of participants.

      We look forward to seeing you all to share this unique celebration together.


      Service note: The club has carefully listened to suggestions from previous participants, with the aim of preserving the routes as best as possible to ensure their use by all in the future. We have decided to experiment with a new formula that allows each obstacle to be tackled for a maximum of 2 attempts. We are introducing this limitation in line with the spirit of JeepLegend; in the past, Jeeps with tires of up to 31" raced on this track. Therefore, to ensure fun for everyone, we ask you to use common sense on the obstacles of the red and blue routes, so that even those who mount smaller and/or original tires can have fun. Participation is required with Jeeps equipped with mud tires of a maximum size of up to 35 inches, equivalent to a maximum diameter of 89 cm. For Jeeps with larger sizes up to 38 inches, with a maximum diameter of 99 cm, places will be limited to a few units., with access to specific black trails. Everyone will be able to access the trail area and all trails, as long as they preserve the trails and follow the Marshalls' directions.

      track reopening from 2.30pm to 5pm.

      dedicated and free, open to all Jeeps up to 1996

      (it is necessary to communicate it via email with the driver and jeep data to the address

      info@jeeplegend.it and collect the pass at registration)

NOTE WELL: For insurance reasons, it will not be possible to register on the day of the meeting without having completed the online pre-registration and sent the signed forms by email, which you will need to bring with you on the day of the meeting.

We kindly invite all jeepers to pre-register only if you are sure you can participate, as this is a closed gathering with limited places.

If you are not sure if you can attend but still want to be included in the waiting list, please send an email to preiscrizioni@jeeplegend.it; in this way you will be contacted a few days before the event, as we will reserve a certain number of places for the waiting list.

At the last JeepLegend, several pre-registered participants did not show up; some notified us, but unfortunately the majority did not, thus denying those on the waiting list the opportunity to participate and causing significant management problems (insurance already made) and economic problems (purchase of gadgets and various materials). In the future, we would not like to find ourselves in the position of having to request confirmation of participation through advance payment of the entire non-refundable fee.

Important for those arriving with campers and cars with trailers Once you reach the Cremosina road, it is recommended to follow the signs for Zuccaro, Orsanvenzo; Valpiana. It is not possible to take trolleys into the pine forest. The dedicated parking lot is in Orsanvenzo near RM Manfredi, (click on the name to open the map) do not go up from the direct road for Rastiglione near the tunnel being very steep and with very tight curves

Historical Notes on the Planes of the Moon Trail


Back in 1971, a group of motor and off-road enthusiasts founded the Valsesia Fuoristrada Club, giving life to a project that would leave an indelible mark on the history of Italian off-roading. With enormous dedication, they created the legendary Piani della Luna track, conceived not only as an arena for challenges and competitions, but also as a training ground for local drivers who wanted to participate in the newly born "CIVF Italian off-road speed championship", inaugurated in those years. The track transformed into a stage for exciting races, hosting several stages of the championship. The Jeepers Club Pian della Luna, made up of enthusiasts who share the same passion for Jeeps, wanted to pay homage to those pioneers of Italian off-roading. These precursors, with their love for Jeeps, left a lasting legacy over time. The members of the Jeepers Club followed in the footsteps of these daring drivers, observing their evolutions on the various tracks, learning and feeding off that contagious enthusiasm. The passion that animated those golden days inspired the members of the Jeepers Club Pian della Luna to revive and revitalize the legendary club and the splendid track, the result of countless sacrifices and hard work carried out by the founding members of the Valsesia Fuoristrada Club. In the iconic 70s, these visionaries imported the first Jeeps to Italy from the United States, starting a tradition that would see the first races of the Italian championship arrive in Rastiglione, attracting off-road vehicles and drivers from every corner of the country.


In 2019, the epic event called JeepLegend brought together at Pian della Luna almost all the founders of Valsesia Fuoristrada and the riders who had faced the tracks of this track. The event represented not only a celebration of the past, but also the recognition of the efforts made to make these territories known and promote this exciting sport. The heroes of yesterday thus became protagonists of today, rewarded for their extraordinary contribution and for having made possible the continuation of a tradition full of adventures, passion and off-road spirit.
