The JeepLegend it is the result of the dream shared by a group of friends who gave life to the Jeepers Club Pian della Luna. Thanks to the commitment and determination of all the members, it was possible to bring the Jeep brand off-road vehicles back to this heavenly corner of off-road, after 35 years of inactivity.

The idea behind the project was to revive the legendary Jeep CJs, with their powerful V8 engines and enterprising drivers, who had competed on these tracks in the past. The goal was to see these cars again alongside all the brand's models, from the historic Willis, CJ and SJ, to the more recent Wrangler YJ, XJ, ZJ, JK and JL. This motivation has created a unique event, sharing the passion for Jeeps with the new generations of jeepers and bringing back the atmosphere of times gone by, making the V8 engines roar again together with the 6 cylinders and modern diesel engines, all with total respect of nature.



The proposed routes are divided into four levels of difficulty, designed for Jeeps equipped with Mud reducer and knobby tyres:


  • Green : a tourist route on the dirt roads surrounding the track, suitable for all Jeeps with gearbox and knobby tires with a maximum diameter of 35" or equivalent.
  • Blue
  • : a route inside the track with easy passages, suitable for all Jeeps with gearbox and knobby tires with a maximum diameter of 35" or equivalent.

  • : a route inside the track with passages of medium difficulty, suitable for all Jeeps with reduction gear, rear differential lock and knobby tires with a maximum diameter of 35" or equivalent.

  • Black
    •
  • : a route inside the track with difficult passages, suitable for all Jeeps with reduction gear, front and rear differential lock, and knobby tires with a maximum diameter of 38" or equivalent.

    Each route is supervised by trained staff equipped with all the necessary equipment to advise and assist participants in overcoming every obstacle safely and with fun.

    The JeepLegend is not just an off-road event, but a two-day experience dedicated to passion, friendship and fun.

    We warmly invite you to participate in the Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch, where awards will be given to the different categories of participants.

PLEASE NOTE: For insurance reasons, it will not be possible to register on the day of the meeting without completing the online pre-registration and sending the signed forms via email which you will need to bring with you on the day of the meeting.


SERVICE NOTE TO READ CAREFULLY:


We kindly ask all jeepers to pre-register only if you are sure you can participate, being a closed-number gathering with limited places.

If you are not sure if you will be able to attend but still want to be included in the waiting list, send an email to preiscrive@jeeplegend.it , in this way a few days before the event you will be contacted, we will keep a certain number of places available for the waiting list.

At the last JeepLegend several pre-registrations were not submitted, some notified us but unfortunately the majority did not, this denied those on the waiting list the possibility of being able to participate, causing us considerable problems at a management level (insurance made) and economically (purchase gadgets and various material), in the future we would not like to be obliged to ask you for confirmation of participation with the advance payment of the entire non-refundable participation fee.

Important for those arriving with campers and cars with trailers once you arrive at the Cremosina road, we recommend following the signs for Zuccaro, Orsanvenzo; Valpiana, it is not possible to take trolleys into the pine forest, the dedicated car park is in Orsanvenzo near RM Manfredi , (click on the name to open the map) do not go up from the direct road for Rastiglione near the tunnel being very steep and with very tight curves

Historical notes of the Lunar Planes Track


Way back in 1971, a group passionate about engines and off-road vehicles founded the Valsesia Fuoristrada Club and gave life to a project that would leave an indelible mark on the history of Italian off-road racing.

With great commitment and dedication, they created the legendary Piani della Luna track. This structure was conceived not only as a place for challenges and competitions but as a training ground for local drivers who wished to participate in the young "CIVF Italian off-road speed championship", inaugurated in those years.

The track became the stage for exciting races, hosting several stages of the championship.

The Pian della Luna Jeepers Club, made up of enthusiasts who share the same passion and love for Jeeps, wanted to pay homage to those pioneers of Italian off-roading. These forerunners, with their passion for Jeeps, have left an indelible legacy over time.

The members of the Jeepers Club followed in the footsteps of these enterprising drivers, observing their evolutions on the various tracks, learning and nourishing themselves on that contagious enthusiasm.

The same passion that animated those golden days inspired the members of the Pian della Luna Jeepers Club to revive it, bringing the legendary club and the beautiful track back to life. Both were the result of many sacrifices and hard work carried out in the past by the founding members of the Valsesia Fuoristrada club.

In the legendary 70s, these visionary characters imported the first Jeeps to Italy from the United States, starting a tradition that would see the first Italian championship races arrive in Rastiglione, attracting off-road vehicles and drivers from every corner of Italy.


In 2019, the epic event called JeepLegend brought back to Pian della Luna almost all the founders of Valsesia Fuoristrada and the riders who had traveled the tracks of this track.

The event represented not only a celebration of the past but also the recognition of the efforts made to make these territories known and promote this exciting sport. Yesterday's heroes have become today's protagonists, rewarded for their extraordinary contribution and for having made possible the continuation of a tradition steeped in adventure, passion and off-road spirit.
